A capital visit!
My wife Ann and I spent last weekend in London. It was quite a multi-facetted visit, within the main objective of spending time with my son annd his wife. We managed to fit in shoppinhg in Oxford Street: absolutely heaving! Good eating and a visit to the V & A museum to enjoy the exibitions. (Managed a little bit of research on the Regency period for the new Amber Mills series and marvelled at the wonderful exhibits of this creative period in our history.)
There was also time to relax and chat over good food and wine and generally catch up with family doings, before returning home, poorer, exhausted and aching, but all in all having had a very enjoyable time. Wonderful.
